well I seem to have no biases!

I found an interesting site online where you can test yourself for hidden biases and prejudices... assuming you think this works, at least. I have taken four tests so far (Native American, gay, Arab, and gender biases) and each of my results was that I had little to no bias towards or against these groups. Hey, I agree at least!! Check it out:

I like how there's first a heavy base of blond, from trimming the long hair on top, and then some clumps of dark from razoring the back and sides.

Well, dammit!

I made myself go to bed at 5:30, right after the last post, since I knew I had to wake up and be productive today. However, I tossed and turned and didn't sleep in bed until 8, and then I got up and have amused myself on the internet since, and I'm STILL AWAKE.

This sucks.

Other things to share:

The professor for my online mythology class is super-anti-war, and was emailing me about the demonstration that will happen on campus today. I told her I didn't know if I could make it because I was going to bed so late and I'd probably sleep through it (ha!), and that I had to have time in the morning to run and shower before going there... but then I had the idea that I could run TO the protest, only I wouldn't have time to shower afterwards and I'd stink. Her response was "Stink for peace!!" I thought that was amusing.

Now I will probably be running earlier, showering, and then heading to campus. Still unsure if I want to demonstrate.

A line in today's Sinfest says, "Comes in small, medium, and American." Yep.

I think I'm going to eat something. My stomach has been rumbling for a while...

Friday, 9am, vet appointment for both cats to get their shots!

Although I'm sure that'll be WAY too early in the morning for me to want to deal with getting them into their carriers. Ugh.

Still no sleep, and yet I just finished running, and...

5 min. walking
6 min. running
3 min. walking
3 min. running
3 min. walking
6 min. running
4 min. walking

That's a LOT for someone who only re-started working out a few weeks ago. In fact, two weeks ago I couldn't imagine running for 6 minutes straight. I was doing 2 minute stretches and dying afterwards ;) Amazing what keeping with a program will do for you!
