juldeaWell, dammit!
I made myself go to bed at 5:30, right after the last post, since I knew I had to wake up and be productive today. However, I tossed and turned and didn't sleep in bed until 8, and then I got up and have amused myself on the internet since, and I'm STILL AWAKE.
This sucks.
Other things to share:
The professor for my online mythology class is super-anti-war, and was emailing me about the demonstration that will happen on campus today. I told her I didn't know if I could make it because I was going to bed so late and I'd probably sleep through it (ha!), and that I had to have time in the morning to run and shower before going there... but then I had the idea that I could run TO the protest, only I wouldn't have time to shower afterwards and I'd stink. Her response was "Stink for peace!!" I thought that was amusing.
Now I will probably be running earlier, showering, and then heading to campus. Still unsure if I want to demonstrate.
A line in today's Sinfest says, "Comes in small, medium, and American." Yep.
I think I'm going to eat something. My stomach has been rumbling for a while...

on 25 Mar 2003 07:31 (UTC)My housemate and I actually did that for one weird week in college, during the first Gulf War. We decided not to shower until the war stopped, in protest. Eventually, his girlfriend (who also lived with us) threatened us with a sword unless we both showered, which ended that idea right quick...
