It's gonna be the future soon...

Thanks to djinni, I now have a default icon.

He apparently does this icon day thing every now and then. I found out about it through beetiger. It's awesome.

So, I've learned something recently. If I post to LJ about things I want, visible to those who can do something about it... sometimes they do. >_>

Also, sometimes life can be VERY different than you would've imagined it'd be a year ago.

Squeeeee, Nick Pollotta is going to be at Lunacon!!!! Crap, now I have to unpack my boxes of books either tonight or tomorrow night. Signed copies of the Bureau 13 novels? Oh yes!

Wait, this might mean someone there will actually have copies of Damned Nation!

My fangirl heart is aflutter.

EDIT: ...crap. He's signing on Saturday morning at 11. usernamenumber and I are arriving Saturday, and hadn't yet figured out when. Ugh, that means leaving at an ungodly hour... but NICK POLLOTTA!

This was an amazing Arisia.

I didn't have a night I got to bed before 5, and each morning I had to start my staff shift at 9. A couple of naps Saturday and Sunday evenings supplimented. Glad I'm not driving or operating heavy machinery today.

I didn't go to a single panel. I went to movies and dances, circus performances, and my own performance with Second Shift. I reconnected with old friends and connected for the first time with new ones.
