So, uh, anyone hiring?

I'm proficient in trivium and quadrivium (yay BS in Letters), can make most MS Office products do my bidding, type above 100 wpm, have 4 years of experience in editing/publishing and 2.5 years of experience in finance, know some low-level coding, and am a fast and eager learner of new concepts and processes.

All I ask is for a little respect. Just a little bit.

...oh god, has this day been coming. I'm glad it's finally here.

You quit? FInally? Good for you!

Nomad posted that Tufts is hiring in Appeals and Greivances. No CSR, so no whiney customers. His post is locked, but here is his email: nomadmwe AT livejournal DOT com

Good luck!

::shrugs helplessly:: Nomad works there, so he'd know. Tell him I sent you.

I don't know how this will affect my free time. I can't exactly go without a job for that long; might not at all, in fact, since I know that temp agencies like me.

I'll pay you to walk around my house nekkid and cook me dinner... ;P

Yes, but HOW MUCH will you pay me? I'd need airfare to get there, too, and emotional damages for the inevitable ending of my current relationship. ;)

Free trip to Australia? AND you're not asking for anything more than being naked and cooking, and I can do both of those... I bet you'd give me internet, too. ;)

And yes, I'm gonna give Harvard a look-see! (I reviewed things after we last talked, but not as seriously as I'll do so now...)

Best Wishes in your job search; I'll keep my ears open. Ditto on the free time offer.

I could look, but somehow I'm guessing you don't wanna move to Dallas if I find a job for you :-p

It'd be a bit inconvenient, yes. ;)

Shame you don't want to move down south. I suspect there's a potential for me to find you a job down here. But then, that goes back to the emotional damage, etc.., Heh.

I'm sorry the people at your [soon to be ex]job treated you so poorly. We spend somewhat less than a third of our adult life, and somewhat less than half of our waking adult life on our career (give or take). Need to make sure it's as enjoyable an environment as possible. :-(

Heh, yeah, I have a bit of an attachment going on up here. Thank you for the offer, though.

They indeed have treated me in a manner I am not willing to put up with any longer. Sigh. I don't know what's going to happen next, but I'll not let it be as bad as this!

My company is always hiring. Basically everything.. There are customer support positions, technical writers, and a few other things.

There are two things my company is very, very, very good at. Treating their employees extremely well, and providing excellent job security.

Let me know. We'll talk.

Yes, but getting to your company is a pain in the butt. :(

Well, it depends.

I'm pretty sure you can take a bus to the Logan Express in Framingham. That's maybe half a mile from the office. As far as one of the other offices, yeah, you're right.

I think [livejournal.com profile] anitra and I could probably figure out a way for you to borrow a car for at least most of the first two weeks (for training purposes, you'd be going to a bunch of buildings)

But the plus would be this - if you moved out of the immediate Boston area, it'd be cheaper.

It's an offer. . . If it doesn't work for you, /me understands.
