So, uh, anyone hiring?
I'm proficient in trivium and quadrivium (yay BS in Letters), can make most MS Office products do my bidding, type above 100 wpm, have 4 years of experience in editing/publishing and 2.5 years of experience in finance, know some low-level coding, and am a fast and eager learner of new concepts and processes.
All I ask is for a little respect. Just a little bit.
...oh god, has this day been coming. I'm glad it's finally here.

on 27 Oct 2006 16:43 (UTC)Nomad posted that Tufts is hiring in Appeals and Greivances. No CSR, so no whiney customers. His post is locked, but here is his email: nomadmwe AT livejournal DOT com
Good luck!

on 27 Oct 2006 17:59 (UTC)I'm sorry the people at your [soon to be ex]job treated you so poorly. We spend somewhat less than a third of our adult life, and somewhat less than half of our waking adult life on our career (give or take). Need to make sure it's as enjoyable an environment as possible. :-(

on 27 Oct 2006 18:02 (UTC)They indeed have treated me in a manner I am not willing to put up with any longer. Sigh. I don't know what's going to happen next, but I'll not let it be as bad as this!

on 28 Oct 2006 03:49 (UTC)There are two things my company is very, very, very good at. Treating their employees extremely well, and providing excellent job security.
Let me know. We'll talk.

on 28 Oct 2006 04:34 (UTC)I think
But the plus would be this - if you moved out of the immediate Boston area, it'd be cheaper.
It's an offer. . . If it doesn't work for you, /me understands.
