Anyone buying this and want to lend it to me when you're done? I don't like buying hardcovers...

Alternately, do we know if public libraries stock up on copies of books such as this? *goes to investigate*

Hah! Thanks for the offer, but I prefer the paper sort for longer reading projects.

In general, I still prefer paper to pixels. But for some circumstances (frex, large hardcover books that I'd like to read while on the T), I'm happier using my PDA. Especially the "wrist joints" part of me...

How does that work? I mean, I have arm problems holding up the book, but I also have arm problems holding up the PDA. (Reading it on a monitor in a nicely ergonomic desk-setup is fine.) You don't have problems reading from a PDA?

I have no problems with the PDA. Well, no more than I would with a typical paperback. Really *lengthy* reading sessions can lead to tiredness.

The PDA is lower resolution than paper, and can be difficult to read under direct sunlight. On the flip side, it's light, and I *always* have it with me, so I can read a few pages easily while waiting in line or whatever. Also, being able to do a text search is occasionally handy.
