Not much detail shown, and lighting is off, but you can see the variegation in color... (Made with Homespun in Corinthian, a red/purple/orange - to - red/purple/green yarn.)

A little more close up, so you can see the cables and the color change...

And the closest up. On second thought, maybe if I had taken the picture on the border between an orange and green section, the cables would be more visible. Ah well. They're quite visible in person.

Wow you're doing cables and gloves! I'm impressed with your knitting savy. I'm still plugging along with my knit stitch with little to no shaping--which can yield pleasant works, too, though. That's a luscious scarf.

Awww... *blush* Thanks! The cables aren't that bad, really, it just takes a bit of wrangling to ensure that you can reach the yarn around. The gloves, however, are going to KILL me. Knitting on size 2 DPNs is so hard!!! :(

I just watched Demolition Man a few nights ago so looking at this makes me think of Sylvester Stallone starts knitting. You haven't by chance been frozen for several years while knitting was programed into your brain by chance have you?

You'd have to tell me... I haven't noticed losing any time, but have I been out of contact with you for several years?

hmm... I believe we made (though brief) contact last christmas season. Are you going to be in Norman over the holidays this year? I'll be around from dec 22 - jan 10. We should chill.

I am flying into OKC on Dec. 22 and will be available either that evening or the next. I'm not sure yet. But I only get one day. :(

THIS SUCKS!! I just re-read what I wrote and Iwas wrong on the date. I actually don't fly in until the 24th. Because of the Christmas rush we have here at work I have to stay until the last minute.

Why only a day?

Fly in to OKC on the 22nd, head up to Bartlesville on the 24th, leave for Michigan on the 25th. :P And since I have to spend time with my mom somewhere in there, I figure I'll only get the 22nd OR the 23rd to go to Norman and see friends.
