FO - Emily's scarf

Not much detail shown, and lighting is off, but you can see the variegation in color... (Made with Homespun in Corinthian, a red/purple/orange - to - red/purple/green yarn.)

A little more close up, so you can see the cables and the color change...

And the closest up. On second thought, maybe if I had taken the picture on the border between an orange and green section, the cables would be more visible. Ah well. They're quite visible in person.

Thank you!

Very good, youg Jedi. You'll be pooping out sweaters and blankies in no time. :)

That sounds painful... ;)

Ooh, purtified!

You are amazing

Wow you're doing cables and gloves! I'm impressed with your knitting savy. I'm still plugging along with my knit stitch with little to no shaping--which can yield pleasant works, too, though. That's a luscious scarf.

Awww... *blush* Thanks! The cables aren't that bad, really, it just takes a bit of wrangling to ensure that you can reach the yarn around. The gloves, however, are going to KILL me. Knitting on size 2 DPNs is so hard!!! :(

That's sooooo pretty!

I just watched Demolition Man a few nights ago so looking at this makes me think of Sylvester Stallone starts knitting. You haven't by chance been frozen for several years while knitting was programed into your brain by chance have you?

[identity profile] juldea.livejournal.com 2004-11-17 05:34 am (UTC)(link)
You'd have to tell me... I haven't noticed losing any time, but have I been out of contact with you for several years?

[identity profile] tank182.livejournal.com 2004-11-17 06:21 am (UTC)(link)
hmm... I believe we made (though brief) contact last christmas season. Are you going to be in Norman over the holidays this year? I'll be around from dec 22 - jan 10. We should chill.

[identity profile] juldea.livejournal.com 2004-11-17 06:26 am (UTC)(link)
I am flying into OKC on Dec. 22 and will be available either that evening or the next. I'm not sure yet. But I only get one day. :(

[identity profile] tank182.livejournal.com 2004-11-17 06:48 am (UTC)(link)
THIS SUCKS!! I just re-read what I wrote and Iwas wrong on the date. I actually don't fly in until the 24th. Because of the Christmas rush we have here at work I have to stay until the last minute.

Why only a day?

[identity profile] juldea.livejournal.com 2004-11-17 06:53 am (UTC)(link)
Fly in to OKC on the 22nd, head up to Bartlesville on the 24th, leave for Michigan on the 25th. :P And since I have to spend time with my mom somewhere in there, I figure I'll only get the 22nd OR the 23rd to go to Norman and see friends.

[identity profile] tank182.livejournal.com 2004-11-17 08:17 am (UTC)(link)
Dude your just doing this whole thing too early! I might be in Bartlesville on the 27-28th!

[identity profile] juldea.livejournal.com 2004-11-17 08:19 am (UTC)(link)
I think that YOU are doing it LATE! :P

[identity profile] tank182.livejournal.com 2004-11-17 08:29 am (UTC)(link)
man.... I'm late for everything.
