I had my very first "authentic Jewish food" on Sunday at Joan and Ed's Deli in Natick. Had a meat knish, a latke, and kishka - VERY GOOD. I ate it all up with yum. There was also a piece of peanut butter chocolate cheesecake that made me moan. I recommend the place and hope to go back!
Saw Sky Captain again, this time with
londo. Still good. For those of you who have seen it and enjoyed the last line of the film, I found it interesting that it was actually a lie. That, or an editing slip-up. Was Joe just being a bastard? Make your predictions...
Crossroads = fun, although I didn't get the most important thing I wanted to get done. Bleh. That's why it sucks to have your plot depend on others. ;)
londo met me at work during my lunch hour. Sometimes it's amazing how well we get along. I mean, seriously - there's no end in sight. :)
I signed up for Zipcar since through work I get all of the signup fees/annual fees/etc waived except for $25/year. I'm not sure how much I'll use it, since the cars start at $8.50/hr and therefore they won't really be useful for driving to bellydance, etc, but it's cheap enough to be worth the signup for a possible emergency (or shopping trip for heavy things).
I'm currently reading for the first time The Mists of Avalon, which was recommended to me wayyyyy back when in high school. By Amanda Suenram, for those who know her. The book fits her pretty well - all goddess earth-mother-y. I'm not impressed but it's good for passing the time. Hopefully the next time I get to the library, Prince Caspian will be in and I can continue the Narnia series.
Enough blathering. I should sleep.
