bellydance aftermath
10 June 2004 21:47Today I went to Johara's intermediate level bellydance class. Before attending the class, I was very very excited. I was exclaiming, "I'm going to bellydance!" After attending the class, I was very disappointed. And the fact that I was disappointed made me very sad. Back to square, well, two now, I guess.
Also disappointing: it's been about two years since I've seen myself bellydancing in a mirror in a classroom setting. There's noticably more of me in the mirror now. *sigh*
Tonight's food experiment brought to you by the thought, "Hey, I have this mango..."
Also: I have no clue if I'm supposed to be at work tomorrow. When I left I told a co-worker, "See you tomorrow," and he said, "No, see you Monday!" At the time I assumed he was taking tomorrow off. Since then I have heard mention that tomorrow is a mourning holiday. I, however, do not have the phone number of anyone to call and ask. I suppose I will just get up and go, and if I get to turn around and head right back home, well, good for me.

on 10 Jun 2004 19:12 (UTC)it'd be great if you got a PAID holiday.
and maybe you could call the general hospital number and get some info or get transferred to someone who knows what's up...it's late now...but in the morning before you leave.
this afternoon i saw a girl dressed in bellydance garb walking along the street, and i thought of you.
