Apparently Australians have been known to put fried egg and pineapple on hamburgers. (I don't know whether or not these go together or separately, but still, very very weird.)

on 29 Apr 2004 13:08 (UTC)bun bottom (lightly toasted, bbq/tomato (ketchup to you heathens) sauce, maybe mayonnaise (tiny bit)..big beef patty (that has onion and garlic and herbs mixed in) fried, then tomato, beetroot, onions, cheese, lettuce, top bun....
for 'the lot', add an egg after the patty, pineapple after the tomato or beetroot and bacon in with the egg and patty...
most people do NOT have chips (or fries to you heathens) with this ;) there's almost no way to fit it in...and it is GOOD. anything less is not a hamburger.
(oh, like NZ, we have the Aussie burger that has egg and bacon on it)....
