hamburgers with fried egg?

Apparently Australians have been known to put fried egg and pineapple on hamburgers. (I don't know whether or not these go together or separately, but still, very very weird.)

And New Zealanders commonly put fried egg and a slice of beet on their hamburgers. In the McDonald's in New Zealand, they even sell "Kiwi Burgers" which are Quarter-Pounders with the above additions.

Yeah, in the original post the beet was mentioned, and while that's strange I don't think it's quite as gross as the egg and pineapple combination...!
