Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever had a boyfriend that really adhered to the "tell your girl how awesome she is at least every two minutes," rule. Is this just something men don't do?

[EDIT]: No, I don't expect this from boyfriends. Mentioning it as a 'rule' was facetious. However, I do it. I feel very strongly towards people, and feel the need to express my emotion often. Sometimes it becomes apparent that I'm saying it a whole lot while it's not said back to me, and no I don't get upset about this... I'm just curious. Because I know that it being said would make me very happy. I don't think it'd ever lose its touch.

[EDIT AGAIN]: Also, this 'rule' applies only to situations wherein you're not physically close to the boy. If you're physically close, obviously there's other ways to show affection (and not even REALLY OBVIOUS ways - just a look will do it).

And, from whom did I get this song?

Mine still can't remember my birthday. (Nick can, but we have the same birthday. *snerk*)

Honestly, I don't know.

Men are from Mars, women are from Venus, I guess. In fact, I've read that book, and I think they do mention this. Heh.

Sixty percent of men are from Mars, sixty percent of women are from Venus. Me and mine are in the other forty percents. He's very good at expressing his admiration and affection. I... try.

I'll agree with that level of statistic. I found the books very... well, written for people that get a point much slower than I do, but I also found that I heavily identified with their description of female. However, I don't for a moment assume that all women are that way.

Yeah, Nick can't remember Veronica's birthday. Then last time he got it right, except he got the wrong year. He also doesn't know how old his mom is. I don't get it.
