It's fairly sunny outside. Maybe I should go lie out in the sun. I have books now, thanks to Mike.
Jim is gone for the day. Nifty SCA event I wanted to go to. Too bad I'm afraid I'll overstress my almost-healed back by walking and sitting all day.
This would be a perfect day to watch Angel season 2, except it never arrived. UPS says it was delivered, but neither Jim, the upstairs neighbor, the downstairs neighbor, or I have seen any indication of it. BAH.
Today is a bad mood today. I'm not angry or sad, I'm just... unwilling to deal with anything that requires more thought than making lunch.

on 28 Sep 2003 00:47 (UTC)If you want to open a claim, be certain to have all your information and have to call back no less than 3 times in 6 days just to make certain a ticket was opened. Then, they give themselves 2 weeks to track the package. That took me another 3 calls to make certain it happened. *Then* I called 5 days later to see what happened....and called again another 2 days later before they actually *mailed* me a claim form!!! Gah!!
At that point (about a month and a half later) I just called CDNOW and told them they needed to talk to UPS since they were the shipper. They did that & even over-nighted a replacement to me.
Morals of the story:
1. Use FedEx
2. Contact the shipper & have them open a claim, too.
