I am using Quicken to track my expenses, try and see where I spend money, etc. So I have several different categories for things: rent, fuel, gifts, telephone, etc. Here's my question. I wish to buy some alcoholic beverages to consume at tonight's goodbye-to-bassgirl-tank182-and-snuffelupagus party. Which category does it fall under?

Crap, I need to pay LJ again so I can put a poll in here. Oh well, here are your choices (I'm not putting in the obvious ones, like any I listed above) (I'll also add a few examples of what, so far this month, has been spent in these categories):

Dining (any meal eaten out of the house)
Entertainment (movies, tickets to baseball games)
Groceries (stuff to eat at the house)
Recreation (sewing supplies)
Snacks (cookies from the physics building, anything from a vending machine)

What categories it definitely does not fall under: education, fuel, household, gifts, medicine ;)

just for the record, brooke's LJ is "superfly39" and mine is "snuffelupaguss" in case people followed the links...also, for some reason (possibly because of the presence of Crouch) I believe that Tequila shots are in order tonight. So, since I'm obviously not buying the booze (only 22 months left!) that's just my "Official suggestion"

update: john told me that he bought beer. so I will buy tequila, and any contribution will be appreciated. 750 ml sauza gold.

in fact, I'll go get it now so I can put it in the freezer. I have one lime that I'll bring. I will also bring margarita salt. someone should provide cups, and ice, and minute maid limeade concentrate.

OH heh dammit.. I even checked how to spell yours, only forgot the simplest part, and I did Brooke's by memory and accidentally did it by the name she has listed for her account, not the username. Suck.

Tequila shots for Julia = bad.
