I think I solved the Insurance Dilemma today.

First off, I signed up for a dental insurance plan. Careington Dental. It's cheap, pays for things, and even comes with a vision plan!!

Secondly, health insurance. I did some calling around to the OU student health plan people and some searching on the OU enrollment page, and found something that works: if I enroll in an internet course for the summer (which would be PSY 1113, which works because I need a social science credit), I am listed as taking 3 credit hours at the Norman campus and therefore meet qualifications for student health insurance. I wouldn't have the best possible savings as I won't actually be in Norman and able to go to Goddard for all my problems, but I would actually get insurance and they'd pay 80% of doctor visits and such after a deductible. Hooray! Only problem is I can't sign up until May 20, so from April 8 - May 20 I'm S.O.L. if I get sick or something. *sigh*

Oh, and I talked to the internet course people and they said there was absolutely nothing in that class that would involve me having to be in Norman, and as long as I have an internet connection in Boston, I'll be fine. Woo!

So yeah, about that nutrition class...

Why do I have such a problem spelling recommend? I usually give it two Cs and one M. Unless I stop to think 're- commend". Blah.

I'm wearing sexy pants today.

What a wonderful little girl!! Her name was Audra, and she sounded very young but was working (and working well) in pre-algebra. She was so nice and sweet and very polite. I want to talk to her more. :)

But maybe that's the painkillers kicking in. ;)

I'm thinking that since I'm not in SO much pain as I was Monday night, maybe I should be cutting them in half.

Go to dayspring.com's e-card page and click on "Witness Card" to see the e-card I got from my scary Christian aunt this morning.

I had a link here to the actual card my aunt sent me, but I realized it had her email address on it and I don't want anyone but me sending her an email about that.

I'd like to say something - this is the 3rd or 4th religious card she's sent me from that website, and I want to let her know it's a lost cause. Although I won't make her stop - at least she doesn't spam me with forwards like my grandmother.

I found out some good things about enrolling today!

I have my advisement form, and I will enroll in two weeks from Wednesday at 2:30.

I am done with my foreign language requirements for Letters. The requirements aren't actually "3 classes of one and 4 classes of the other" for an ancient and a modern, they are "1 intermediate or higher class in one and 2 intermediate or higher classes in the other". Since I took the one-semester beginner Latin course (since I had Latin in high school), that means I've already done two upper-level Latin courses. Whee, me.

Also, because Dr. Murphy gave me an I last fall, when I retake E&M next fall I won't need to re-enroll and pay for it again. Since I haven't gotten an I before this, I didn't know. I think that's good news.

So, as to my schedule. So far I am absolutely taking two classes:

MWF 8:30-9:20 Math 3413 Physical Math
MWF 10:30-11:20 Phys 3183 Electricity & Magnetism

There are a lot of options for the remaining classes to take. Here they are:

MWF 9:30-10:20 DANC 4990 Pilates Body Conditioning
MWF 9:30-10:20 HIST 3213 Intellectual History of 19th Century Europe
MWF 11:30-12:20 PHIL 3253 History of Ethics
M 3:30-6:20 HIST 3623 Conformity and Dissent
TR 9:00-10:15 ENGL 3573 Athurian Legends and Literature
TR 9:00-10:15 HIST 3933 Early Modern Witchhunt
TR 10:30-11:45 ENGL 3813 Science Fiction
TR 12:00-1:15 PHIL 3313 History of Ancient Philosophy
TR 3:00-4:45 PHIL 4133 Symbolic Logic
Internet Course MLLL 3043 Mythology and Folklore
Internet Course MLLL 4970 Medieval Latin

Oh, I guess I should mention what I -need- to take to graduate.
E&M and P. Math for my physics minor
3 classes upper-division history
2 classes upper-division literature
2 classes history, literature, or philosophy (any level)

I got off work early today. :)

I paid back Waylon for my processor, too.

One of the asst. managers at Papa John's is going to pay me $1 for a lorcet. Silly boy.

Maybe there should be a party for my car when it gets paid off.

I know I had one more thing to post, but I don't remember it.

I made a mistake on my last post, saying that E&M happened at 9:30, but it happens at 10:30. This affects my available classes. Thus I have changed the last post and this one to show the new possibilities.
