This morning, four airplanes were hijacked from various aiports... two United and two American Airlines.

8:45 a.m.: One of the planes crashes into the south World Trade Center tower.

9:03 a.m.: A second plane crashes into the north World Trade Center tower.

9:43 a.m.: An third plane crashes into the Pentagon.

10:05 a.m.: The south tower of the World Trade Center collapses.

10:10 a.m.: The fourth plane crashes in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, southeast of Pittsburgh.

10:10 a.m.: A portion of the Pentagon collapses.

10:28 a.m.: The World Trade Center's north tower collapses.

American Airlines flight 11 from Boston to L.A. and flight 77 from Dulles (Washington DC) to L.A. were the two planes to hit the WTC.

United flight 93 was the one that crashed in Pennsylvania, and flight 175 must have been the one that hit the Pentagon.

The FAA has halted all flight operations at U.S. airports, the first time in U.S. history that air traffic nationwide has been stopped.

I got my Geek Girl shirt in the mail. I also didn't go to Saxon. Those are two very insignificant good things to happen in a day deluged with bad things.

I have heard too many people today who have replaced their sorrow with anger. It is not a solution to reciprocate with a similar attack on civilians. "Bomb 'em all" will not make things better.

I am supposed to concentrate on homework or something.

I wish I were a cat. I wouldn't have to worry about terrorists or homework... I could just curl up in the sun and sleep a lot.
