I'm Shaking
12 March 2002 19:53I just bought:
a black mid-tower case
a case fan
a motherboard
a fan for the motherboard
a Gforce2 card
a floppy drive
a cd-rw drive (24X10X40)
a 20 gig hard drive
128 megs of ram
a AMD Athlon XP 1700+ processor
Soon, when I have more money, I will buy a keyboard, sound card, and monitor. And when the prices go back down, I will buy more ram.
I plan on using Teddyville's keyboard and monitor until then. And onboard sound.
I have a mouse, speakers, and a network card.
Am I missing anything?
I'm shaking. I'm so happy to have a desktop computer! And I can afford it. It'll hinder the debt-free-by-May, but I'll still have OLD debts paid off by May.
Also, I will need some Windows action. *twiddle*
And I will need someone to help me put it all together when the parts come in :)

PS
on 13 Mar 2002 00:32 (UTC)I've got a library currently sitting at 1,403 MP3 files, and it only takes up 6.05GB. Definately worth the space, but as you can see, the space isn't that much. What kills my external are all the Star Trek TNG, Voyager, DS9, Enterprise; Andromeda, Babylon 5, and movies sitting on it. (Usually hovers around 20 GB) So...I am a firm believer in more HDD space.
