Helen at Savvy update / 1/3-life crisis

I have an appointment for a wash/trim/blow-dry with Helen at Savvy Hair Design on Thursday morning at 10am. I'll let you know.

I think I'm hitting a 1/3-life crisis. I'm thinking of coloring my hair again (with a conditioner/mousse-style color, nothing with ammonia or bleach, nothing that will wreck my hair, and very temporary colors), getting re-piercings and maaayyyybe a tattoo, and I've begun very slightly wearing makeup - just on my eyes.

Are you turning 30 soon, or realizing you're pushing it? I did similar things at that time. I will likely do more soon, but I'm told that I'm not pushing 40 yet.

I've been on a mascara kick for the last few days. I really like eye makeup, but since my eyes would always get watery/itchy several times a day when I wore contacts, it didn't make sense to do eye makeup except for special occasions. Now that I wear glasses full time, eye makeup is a little more doable.

What kinds of eye makeup do you like?

Huh, this never got emailed to me.

I just wear eye shadow so far. A line of dark shadow near the eyelash line is much easier for me to apply than eyeliner, and less dramatic. Then lighter colors for the lid and above. Sometimes, if the occasion calls for it, glitter is also applied. :)
