Uh oh, I shouldn't be up this late. Bad for the sleeping schedule. Oh well =P

I finally got some pictures put up after the extended absence of my computer. Included are: the long-awaited picture of my new navel jewelry, some cat photos (of course), and pictures of another new friend at my house. ;)

Also, I have put up the pictures from JUNE's dinner party. They're in no particular order. Actually... they're in alphabetical order. I just noticed.

So, Excel is pretty nifty-handy and helped me figure out a few things. First off, I'm using it to budget, which is good. My "$70-a-week" weeks start on Saturdays and last until Fridays, and guess what... I've already spent ~$27 more than the $70 I set aside for this week. For those curious, it was $40 at Walmart, $20 for gas, $10 at Pratt's, and $20 at Albertsons. Then some extraneous stuff. The good news is, my fridge is stocked. :) No eating out this week... I'm trying to decide if I should dock that $27 from next week's budget since most of the food will last until then as well (and things like cat litter and paper towels) or if I should just write it off and let myself have a new $70 next week. The first option teaches me to spend more wisely...

Secondly, Excel took in the 2+ months of weight data I have been keeping track of and made me a nice little line of best fit to estimate for me when I'd reach certain goals. :) For those who care: the equation is y = -.17x + 158.81. The x value is number of days since I began keeping track, with May 27th being day 1. I'm on day 78 right now. :) I'm losing approx. 5 pounds a month, which is nice and healthy. I started at 159.5, and I'll reach 140 around September 13th (110 days) and 135 around October 13th (140 days). That's as far as I plan to go. However, theoretically I could reach 100 pounds (assuming the weight loss would always be linear, ha... at that point my body would revolt because I would be losing vital organs) after 346 days... May 7th of next year. ;)

Oh, also, Brendan's wish list gave me the idea of making my own, just to have it. My birthday is already past this year, and Christmas isn't until far away, but it seems like a good idea to have a constant place to put things you want - for your reminder as much as reminding people who tend to buy gifts for you. I haven't made mine up yet, but it will probably be here.

Ok, enough ranting. Time to let myself and my computer sleep. Hopefully the kitties will calm down, too. =P

thanks for putting up the pics. they made me smile.

hopefully, when i go see rachel, i will be able to say "you have a big round tummy!" and when i come back to norman and see you, i will be able to say "you are so little!"

i think it's great that you've been an excel nerd.

yeah except i'll have to cut off all your pants or something cause they will be too short. but it sounds exciting! i used to be the one pawning all my too-small things to littler friends so i think it will be great to get your too-big things (cause a. i'll get free clothes and b. it's always nicer for people to give clothes away that are too big than too little).

Not yet. Since they are built to be big anyway and I haven't lost much weight in my waist (not much to lose there anyway) they still fit the same. I still have 10 pounds to go, though (I decided 135 was my goal).

at this rate, you'll be able to say both things to me! i'm shrinking and growing. no more extra rolls at my waistline or hips. still fleshy, but i've shrunk. odd how i'm shrinking during my pregnancy, except for my breasts and stomach of course. then again, it'll probably all change again in the next month or so, and i'll be all round everywhere again.
