Ponderings on 3am

juldea"Oh sure," you think to yourself, "I can get up at 3:00am just fine. I mean, I used to get up at 5 all the time in high school, right? This is just two hours earlier."
That is what you think of BEFORE you wake up. Afterwards it's, "Oh god, this isn't a decent tower to wake UP, it's a decent late hour to stay up until but going to bed and then waking up at 3? This isn't an early morning hour, this is a late night hour!"
Just thought I'd share that. My body would be all fine if we had just stayed up until 3:00, but well, after that I would have just crashed I'm sure. And an unconscious Juldea in Las Vegas isn't a good thing. So I'm glad I got a little bit of sleep in, even if this is an UNHOLY hour to have to wake up.
However... I'm going to Vegas! To the OMP! Today! In just a little while! The plans are all set... going to see the Tournament of Kings tonight at the Excalibur (a trip which I planned and coordinated entirely by myself), and tomorrow is the OMP, filled with scavenger hunts, UNO tournaments, door prizes, and maybe a little bit of bellydancing. And tonight I will meet (among many many other people) Corch!!! My Aussie friend.
I will have to leave the kitties behind, and that is sad. But Randen will take good care of them for me.
Okay I guess it is time to do things like eat breakfast and pack the rest of the used-in-the-morning items (face wash etc)! I will see everyone again on Monday night!!
