karma makes me happy
10 May 2007 12:43This pleases me so much.
Female students at Framingham State College thought they looked fat in a picture that the school paper featured on the front page, a picture of them wearing tank tops with their stomachs exposed to show the painted-on name of a lacrosse player.
So they tried to steal as many copies of the school newspaper as they could.
They got caught, and now it's a story on the internet.... complete with pictures the whole world can see.
Karma is great.

(And oh boy, are they tubs of lard or what?!)

on 10 May 2007 22:19 (UTC)And here's another thing that irritates me: If you're going to knowingly do something along the lines of "making a fool of yourself" (such as putting paint on your belly and baring it in a crowd at a sports game) it seems like an all-or-nothing proposition. Either look stupid, and embrace that you are probably going to look stupid no matter how you slice it, or don't do it in the first place. It drives me nuts when people think they can have their cake and eat it too that way. "Boy, Mandy, you were so SEXY at that pie-eating contest yesterday!"
Honestly.
