Another solution to my banking woes is to just get a scanner. However, the cheapest one at the Staples next door to work is $70, and that's not worth it to me. Does anyone have an old scanner they don't use much anymore or for other reasons are looking to offload? I can either pay or barter with knitting. :) Also, if it's somehow both a scanner and a printer (do those exist?) my household technically could use either. Thanks. (Now, off to Craigslist to look.)

Because they're printers you get some of the subsidy castoff, where companies are willing to undercharge you for it because they will eventually get you on ink. Both of these printers probably come with a color cart and not a black one, and no cable :)
If you dislike walmart you can find similar deals elsewhere ;-)
The thing about running LARPs is I know a *LOT* about printers... (we destroy ~500-1000 dollars a year in printers, ugh!)

on 19 Apr 2007 21:17 (UTC)We go to walmart at 3am when the printer we think we're printing a larp on finally breaks and dies, and we need another one, which is why we know it so well :)
