Will anyone of you lovely people be participating in the Brandeis Festival of LARPs this weekend, specifically in a game on Saturday night and willing to give me a ride home afterwards? I'll be taking the commuter rail out there, the last one of those BACK on Saturday night leaves at 10:45, and the Sat. night games are scheduled from 8-1. So, while I could inform my GM that I'll have to ditch out early, I'd prefer to stay for the whole game.

Other suggestions for how to get from Brandeis to Cambridge at 1am on a Saturday night are also welcome. Hee.

What kind of LARPing are you looking for? Or is it just for the fun of a festival?

I'm not looking for LARPing. I'm looking for a ride home after the LARPing.

Have you checked out the 70 bus? It runs to walking distance to campus -- if you know where the hole in the fence is. It would get you another hour (well, 45 min +walk), leaving at 11:45p. You may need a local guide. Here's a map:

So, from the comparison I've been able to do with a campus map and the above, the gap is behind the "Abraham Shapiro Academic Complex"? If so, that's not bad - the festival is being held in Shiffman, a building pretty close by. Looks like the walk to the 70 stop and the walk down to the commuter rail stop are equidistant from there, even. Thanks for the info!

Heh - if I miss that bus and feel plucky, I can just walk down to the Waltham Commuter Rail stop and catch the bus that leaves there at 12:35. I can make that walk in 45 minutes... (I just wouldn't really WANT to.) ;)

I would offer, but I'm in Oxford, not Cambridge, this weekend :(

Wrong Cambridge, anyway. ;)

It's been a while! What have you been up to?
