good eve'n
29 October 2001 23:53Just got back from a 5-hour gaming session. Average deaths was over 1/hour. ;) Jason was about to commit ritual seppuku for getting me killed that much, but I really don't care - I got level 5, and deaths right then don't count for much either, so nothing bad happened to me. I got to become a bard, and got a combat spell, a regeneration spell, and a speed spell. For the speed I do this awesome drumbeat, and my character kind of dances around. It's cool :) Anyway, more tomorrow.
Note I am back before midnight.
I am keeping the little travel clock that Saxon gave out last Christmas in my living room on the desk next to the computer. It has a temperature gauge, and I'm keeping it in celsius. Right now it is 23.5, and it is a little chilly but not cold - I'm fine in my reclaimed-turtleneck (more about that in the next paragraph). I was very comfortable in the middle of Sunday when it was 25 (77F). I don't remember what I was wearing.
I've started a turtleneck reclamation project. I realize that when I look in my closet, I see a lot of turtlenecks, but I don't like to wear them. The necks are too long to be folded down once, and too short (so they don't stay) when I try to fold them in thirds. And I don't like the way they make my face look. So I took out my black turtleneck and cut off the neck to make it into a crewneck. Now it looks great and I really like it! So I will be doing this with all of my turtlenecks. Or maybe some of them I will just cut down shorter than they are now.
I'm really, really hungry, but I figure I will be hungry when I wake up too so I should just go to bed and make my body wait. Eat up some of that stored energy :)
I still haven't called anyone about this blown fuse (Logan and I found the fusebox last night, yes it's a blown fuse, but the type of fuse was not one we found at walmart and home depot was already closed. We assume that it is an old type that is not to be found anymore). The dark in my bedroom and bathroom isn't that bad. I shower and everything in the morning when light is coming in.
Hmmm, morning. I should probably get to bed.
