juldea: (hold me!)

I took one more picture of the business end of my Arisia braid - sadly, after having slept on it for an evening, so it's a bit messy. Scratch that - the hair that wasn't braided is messy, but the braid itself was fully, firmly intact. I was in awe. Anyway, here. The braider has an LJ, she's [livejournal.com profile] blk.

I also snapped a picture on Friday afternoon after curling my hair pre-con. I understand the curls were pretty much gone by the time I really ran around on Friday night. I obviously need some kind of Product to keep them in... sigh. I think it looked really nice and want to try again sometime!

Those braids are hott. I get my hair braided like that every year at the good old Norman Medieval fair.

And Pantene makes some pretty good not-outrageously-expensive non-aerosol hair spray. It doesn't make your hair as stiff as the old lady spray. Sometimes I curl my hair in a similar way and that's what I use.

And... I really feel like a frigging girl right now.

But you give me good advice that I will now use! Being a girl isn't a bad thing. Thank you!

Oh, definitely. Your hair is nice and thick. I bet Veronica would love it, too.
