Let's see if I can remember enough about the past two days to make another pro/con post. ;)
Pros:
Looking great in awesome outfits. Woot for little black dresses and cleavage.
Hair porn. I went to the braiding vendor and got an awesome crown done that is STILL IN!
Helping
shadowravyn into her corset Saturday morning. (Later I would point to her cleavage and exclaim, "I did that!")
Being recognized in the podcasting panel.
Being gifted with Staff Den food after agreeing to cook crab rangoon for them.
redknight's party, and the late night Guitar Hero that ensued
The Vanilla Monogamy Meet & Greet not sucking!
Contributing well to the Gripe session.
Talking to someone from the RHPS cast who absolutely listened to me and didn't brush me off!
Meeting up with
laura47 when she came over after Mystery Hunt ended.
londo cowering the hotel restaurant waitress into servicing us well.
Having MULTIPLE options of how to volunteer next year!
Hanging out at the Dead Dog for hours, music geeking with DJ Johnny Zed into the night.
Going home with londo every night. ♥
Cons:
Not making it to the Art Show before it closed.
Waking up every morning and inevitably missing the first few things I wanted to do by the time we got to the hotel.
Also not making it to all the events I wanted to due to overlapping schedules, being shanghaied, etc.
NO ONE mentioning my Jonathan Coulton shirt. :(
No Jonathan Coulton. >_>
Stomachaches/headaches
STILL being too injured to bellydance
Not knowing if flirting with someone will make them try to have sex with me and require beating off with a stick. :P
The issues that arose at the vanilla monogamy meet/greet (somewhat related to the above)
It being over. :(
Pros:
Cons:

on 16 Jan 2007 00:23 (UTC)For the purposes of Arisia, that does NOT mean "singles gathering." It was for monogamous couples, too, to show up and meet others who have this zomg radically different lifestyle than the rest of fandom, how do we manage it?! :P

on 15 Jan 2007 23:14 (UTC)And so glad I sat next to you at the gripe session.
I was going to bring you over to Glen and Jeanette, the leaders of the RHPS group had the other woman not come over.

on 16 Jan 2007 00:31 (UTC)3 pounds of cream cheese
3 cans of canned crab (I'd guess they were 6oz cans each?)
1/4c diced green onion
Total guesses here: 2T worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and sugar
Packaged wonton wrappers from the supermarket (we ended up using approx 250 wrappers)
oil for the deep fryer (we used peanut oil)
Combine all but the oil and wrappers in a big bowl. Spoon in 1-2T quantities onto wonton wrappers. Moisten edges of wrappers with water (I dip a finger in a glass of water and moisten two edges) then fold over (from squares to triangles) and seal, removing ALL air bubbles - they will explode in the deep fryer. Then fry. londo has always done the frying part, so I don't know the specifics of that.
I'm glad you found me on LJ, because I wanted to apologize for the apple moment at the Dead Dog! I am sorry you felt it necessary to leave; I was going to just hang out on the other side of the room for the duration of that, go wash my hands, then return. :)

No one has any clue who put the monogamy meet 'n' greet on the con schedule, but it was a fun thing to do for some of us to get together and laugh about some stuff. ;)no subject
