juldeaFor the confused: this post is regarding Arisia, a sci-fi/fandom con occurring in Boston this weekend. This will be my third year attending.
I am not on any panels (due to not ACTUALLY being a cool kid, just mimicing them with this post) but I will be attending some.
Panels/events this year are not consuming my time as much as they did last year, which is good. It's possible that last year I was concerned with free time and therefore was easier to lure by panels. Whether that was the case or not, last year I remember not having ENOUGH free time what with all the panels I wanted to attend, so the slimmer pickings this year is better. However, I wish to gripe to no one in particular that it's no fair that on Saturday, during one particular hour there are FOUR places I'd like to be at once and then nothing after that for several hours. Damn Events for not designing the schedule around my needs!! ;)
I'll be at some of your panels, dear friends list folks, but if I'm not (or if you're not on any!) then I'll just have to run into you in the hallways at some point. :)
Also, point of note, this being my third Arisia, now I also get to choose panels to NOT go to due to the people/subjects involved! Hooray for getting a feel for the population!
