Have I told you about the elk that hit my dad's car? They actually ran into the side of his car while he was driving -- and in Colorado, if you hit it, it's yours. Unfortunately my folks didn't have a chest freezer at the time, so the sheriff's deputy started calling down our area list of people willing to come out on call and pick up the fresh elk meat.
