I think what depresses me is that Serenity did so bad in the theaters. We'll never see another Serenity movie, and that's just the way it is. I mean, I don't know what the DVD sales are gonna do, but the movie, at the point of its closing, never even broke even--and that includes worldwide sales. It fell almost a million short. :-P Plus, given that it did about 40% of its total gross sales on its opening weekend means they don't believe it had a broad enough appeal/was good enough to spread by word of mouth...
From what I've read, most people blame Universal's poor marketing... Dunno.
Well so far I've seen episode 1 and enjoyed it. And after that, londo watched the rest of that disc without me. :( But he's going to sit around and rewatch them all with me tonight. ;)
