Work training classes

Pretty neat - my boss has cleared me to go to as many training classes (hosted by HR) as I want. Their fall schedule isn't up yet, but I already know they're having an Access class in October. Woot! :)

Is it sad that I'm really looking forward to this? And not only because it's two 8-hour days where I'm paid to stay out of my office and play with computers... ;)

Dude! Totally not sad.

I *love* taking classes held by my company. I love learning pretty much *anything,* and learning computer-related things is incedibly awesome. And then the out of office thing, too... :P

Also, knowing Access is a genuinely useful job skill you can put down on your resume. This isn't just win-win. It's like win^4!

Yeah, exactly! And he'll probably okay me to go to Access 1 AND 2, and Powerpoint 1 and 2, and Excel 2 (which I don't NEED but will still probably teach me some things that I'd otherwise figure out on my own, but with a lot more time involved)... and those are the only ones I currently can assume they teach. Who knows what else, though! :D
