Wow.... I haven't really posted in a while. Update time...
Move::
Our living room is still full of packed boxes, the couch is still upright in the kitchen... There's a lot to be done. Today is supposed to be about unpacking, but of course I haven't gotten any done... After I post here. I promise. ;) Bathroom, then kitchen, then work on the living room...
It's nice living together. I do feel like I'm walking a fine line between nagging and asking for simple things, sometimes, but neither one of us has blown up at the other about housework yet so it's good. Meals for two are nice, and having someone I can ask to run to the store for oil while I prepare other parts of dinner. And of course there's the convenience of nearby snuggles. :)
Recreation:
I'm playing Chrono Trigger for the first time ever, and having a fun time of it. I got yelled at once for giving up on a puzzle and googling for the answer (the Tyrano Lair warp room) but mostly I'm figuring things out, I think. I'm really not used to gaming though, really - londo has pointed out a few times, "Did you notice that your enemy has a wicked counterattack?" and I'm like, "What? Uh... He attacked. That's what enemies do. Sometimes they attack more than other times?" Heh. I try to tell people I don't have the mind of a gamer, but I guess they don't believe me. ;)
Still reading through The Wheel of Time series, currently on book 7. Also reading Warrior's Apprentice from the Vor books, and both of those will probably be shelved for a day when I get a copy of Harry Potter. ;) And my copy of An Ode To Billy Joe arrived...
Knitting: still on needles are the Rogue and my brother's Everton scarf. I just started on Soleil for myself as something to do quick and dirty, and I have bartered my services to someone to create them a kitten army from this pattern. Sounds like a fun stashbuster. :)
Bellydancing: Waiting for fall classes to begin.
SCA: Everyone's in their pre-Pennsic swing, so not much is going on that suits me. If I'm wrong, let me know. ;)
KoL: Still goin' strong. Meetup next weekend... god, I'm insane.
Employment/Career:
Still dislike my job, though not loathe, and lately it's actually been keeping me busy a lot (hence the lack of posting.)
Haven't given up on the Piano Tech school, just waiting for my transcript to arrive so I can apply. Should transcripts take this long? I need to call OU and find out what's up. *impatient*
I think that's about it... ask, if you can think of something that needed updating that I didn't give you. :)

on 18 Jul 2005 04:08 (UTC)He often, but not always, concludes that MJ12 Commandoes have plot, really they do.
Personally, I'm upset that, no matter how hard I try, I cannot incapacitate Gunther. I *like* Gunther.

on 18 Jul 2005 15:43 (UTC)He can't be incapacitated, but he *can* be avoided. It's hella hard, but you can complete the plot point and run away from him in the Templar Cathedral. Mind you, future plot content seems to assume that he's dead, but at least *I* didn't do it :)
