Well I'm not getting admitted to anything yet, but I took a tour, met several people, and got an application. It would be the piano technology department. And yes, it's fexpensive; luckily they have financial aid and such. There's definitely a big, "We'll see," going on with all the bits here.

Thanks, quite well, and of course. ;) I talked to the head of admissions for a while, got shown around and introduced to two of the head instructors (David and Debbie, for bleppo) and one of the current students who's working there over the summer. Everyone was nice and friendly, and the place looked awesome. Bits and pieces of pianos everywhere! I have to submit an actual application though, so I don't know anything yet. I was told there was a wait list for the program, though... :( *crosses fingers*

Oh yeah... the school is in the middle of North End... surrounded by pizza, pasta, and pastries. Must remember to bring my lunch or get fat...

Well... it's a bit of a walk to get into the North End from the T, so that cancels out some of it, right?

Well, that's always been my rationalization: If I have to go under the Artery to get there, it's not fattening. For example: North End good; Quincy Market bad.

Hey -- just came upon this now. I meant to check back earlier.

I spent most of my life across the street at the diner (It was "Theo's Cozy Corner" then, but I believe Theo sold...). I got friendly enough with some of the local color, that one guy even gave me a graduation present.
