Star Control II
13 June 2005 11:04Last night I directed
londo towards The Ur-Quan Masters, the free PC release of the old Star Control II game. He had never heard of it. When I woke up this morning, he was still awake and playing it, although he had only just started (but he had met Fwiffo!)
The time I normally spend hitting the alarm clock for 'just 5 more minutes' I spent watching/advising him, instead. Now I wanna play. :(

on 13 Jun 2005 19:26 (UTC)Also, one of the few games ever where your *lack* of action can have a significant effect on the story. Hint: if you get a distress signal, don't just assume that you can take your time dealing with it -- time actually passes in this game. [Failing to save people won't lose you the game, but it may make it harder...]
