diagnosis, again.

I have an outer ear infection, also known as "Swimmer's Ear," because it's often caused by water in the ear. I haven't been swimming in quite a while, so I don't know about that. Anyway.

I also had a 100.7 fever.

I got two flavors of eardrops; antibiotic (because oral antibiotics will not work right for this) and painkiller. Which is wimpy. I mean, I don't want to die anymore, but I'm still hurting a lot. :(

So... I don't see me going to the dress rehearsal tonight. Which means no show for me. I am, as you can imagine, not feeling at all happy about this. But what can I do? My body has revolted against me.

Sorry, everyone. I wish I could do it, too.

Huh. I wonder if that happened to me. I did get ear infections a lot when young, and I do have an unusually high range in my hearing. Of course, working around computers all day, that's something of a negative, as *everything* makes an audible whine...
