ear pain

I have not felt pain this bad in so long, that I don't know what to compare it to. Sprained ankles and torn ligaments are NOTHING compared to this. There's a large plug coated in acid and sharp spikes shoved into my ear canal. Sometimes I can 'pop' it, and then the acid and the spikes come back in FULL FORCE and have actually brought tears to my eyes.

Also, chewing = pain. I have leftover yummy pizza that I want to eat but can't because it hurts too much.

londo is currently in Providence, flying out tomorrow to Arizona. Seeing as how it's a business trip and his boss is paying for it, he can't really turn it down and come here to take care of me. *cry*

Do you have plans to see a doctor? This sounds serious.

Possible temporary relief: hot shower?

Yes, I am calling first thing in the morning to see if I can get a same-day appointment.

And yeah... gonna try that soon. Makes sense.

I have found that the best way to get a same-day doctor appointment is to go sit in the ier waiting room. They get very annoyed, and find you an opening asap just to make you go away....

Yeah, while in the shower I changed my battle plan to going to the doctor's ASAP tomorrow morning and staging a sit-in.

i'm sorry you feel so crappy :( i hate ear infections/collapsed ear canals/anything else ear related that hurts. it just stinks... i hope you feel better soon, and that you don't have to cause too much trouble to get an appointment!
