I feel horrible. Seriously horrible. I have a headache, my sinuses are one big block of pain and pressure, I'm going to end up emptying a family-sized box of kleenex in one day, my lips and nose are all chapped from repeated nose-blowing and mouth-breathing, and I just want to lie down.

Unfortunately... Two more dance classes until the recital. If I miss one, I can't be in it. And I'm NOT going to sacrifice that.

I want to lie down and cry and beat my head against the floor until it cracks open and releases all of this pressure... but I can't go home for seven more hours.

If you have a cold, and are within the first 48 hours of it, STOP what you are doing RIGHT NOW and go get some Zicam nasal gel. That shit works. If not, have fun being sick for 2 extra weeks. :)

blah.... well, go ahead and get some, for next time. i swear, ever since i found out about it and have started to use it at the VERY FIRST HINT that i might be getting a cold, it seriously knocks the entire cold out in like 3 days, and my symptoms are much less severe. it is soooo worth the money!

anyway, hope you get better soon! ouch, your eye... maybe a sinus massage to drain the stuff and relieve the pressure would help? i'm pretty sure most massage therapists can do those....

You might just try the phone book, under "massage therapists" or possibly even "spas," and call and ask if they do facial massages to clear sinuses. let me know if you find anything, and if it works! :)

Well... feeling better now, and I probably shouldn't spend the money... but we'll see if it flares up again!

it might be worth the money, to prevent a relapse and the doctor/medicine expenses THAT would entail, though....
