to this!

WTF he's so tiny. Seriously. And what's up with his legs?! Is he made of rubber or something?

...um, don't get me wrong. I'm squealing over here.

I don't think I should ever be allowed to make cute baby clothes for my own kids, because when I see them in them I will die of squealiness.

babies have no bones, jsut cartelidge, so they bend funny when they come out (small hole and all)

the cartlidge starts hardening into bone at 18 weeks (that is, 18 weeks pregnant, not 18 weeks after they're born).

jsut an oversimplification. babies have lots of little bones and a whole lot of cartilage, the bones later fuse (the soft spot closing up) and the cartiladfe hardens completly into bone by age 12 or so...

Yes I know they're tiny, but he seems even tinier than he should be!

Baaaaaby! He'll grow, and eat, and while he eats before he's really mobile, he'll get big and round. (My cousin before she could walk had these very impressive thunder thighs, and this baby I knew when I volunteered at a battereed women's shelter was essentially a basketball with appendages and a head.)

That kid is cute like whoa.

Little babies often look bowlegged, but it straightens out as they grow. (:

Cute like whoa! What a great phrase.

That's a relief to hear. I was just assuming it was the camera angle...

Yep! Danielle has been walking for 4 months now (13 months old), and she's still very bowlegged. Her doctor said it'll fix itself over the next year or so.
