Okay, so after giving plasma today I decided that what I needed was a trip to the mall for 1) an official bra-fitting and 2) some serious clearance-rack browsing. So here are the results:
Victoria's Secret thinks I'm a 36C/38B. Depends on the bra whether the band size should be bigger or not. Really only actually in the VS store did I wear 38Bs that fit, though.
I am the best shopper ever. I came out of my trip with a pair of black fake leather jeans for $14 (after tax), and 3 bras and 6 pairs of underwear for $26.80 - the price of probably one Victoria's Secret bra.
Here's the highlight of the day... I went into Gadzooks, and on the way back to the clearance racks in the back of the store I passed by the little underwear-combinations rack and saw something that made me drool. A bra/undie set of purple and black plaid with sparkles :))) So I tried the bra on (36C) and it fit, and after agonizing about the $14.50 price tag I decided to get it. Then I notice that the individual underwear of the set could be found in the bin of clearance items. I continue to the register and the tag, with no markings on it to indicate otherwise, rings up for $6-something. So she asks me if it was clearance and I say that I saw some items similar to it in the clearance bin. That fact gets me an extra %60 off and I end up walking out of the store with this set for $3.01.
I'm so cool.
Now, I am going to go through my clean laundry, and do the inevitable... throw away old underwear that doesn't fit anymore. *gasp*
