Mine was quite obviously Logical/Mathematical, followed closely by yours.

Yeah. I'm waiting for a "Multiple Intelligences" test which actually tests intelligences, as opposed to asking "Is you smart?"

Nobody's explained to me what "Bodily/Kinesthetic" intelligence is, yet, too.

I think "aptitude" would be a much better word, but they insist on using "Intelligences", because this test was invented to make the parents of jocks and music geeks with D+ averages feel like their kids were smart, back in the 80s when grades were all that mattered. As opposed to now. I was never quite clear what the stated purpose of the multi-intelligence test was. Its implicit purpose (see above) is worthy, but...is it for figuring out where to encourage your child?

I always liked it because I do quite well on almost all the axes -- nothing like "winning" an intelligence test. ;-) Anyway...if I want a realistic version of this sort of thing, I use GURPS. No joke. The character creation rules offer a good way to organize thoughts about the aptitudes and disadvantages of a person, and come up with a pat way to express them ("You're worth 24 points! You suck!"). This is for people who act like they need to be judged by me.

As for actually testing intelligences/aptitudes, well -- that would require 8 intelligence tests, and we know how tricky even one of them is to write. And since one of them would (at the very least) require you to be jumping around, and another would require interacting with a bunch of people...it's hard to administer over the internet. Maybe if you threw in a DDR pad and a chat room.

This particular quiz really hacked me off, because the whole POINT of the multi-intelligence thing isn't that you "are" one of them, but that you have all of them to some degree. The giant "YOU ARE AN X" picture counteracts this entirely, negating a lot of the insight the test provides.

I tend to just trust in people not to be so idiotic as to fall prey to that kind of thing. I certainly wasn't inspired to drop everything and become a composer simply because of this quiz! ;)
