This is from the comments to last night's ranty post... I felt that it needed to put out here too!

...but what many people are missing about this post is not that I'm saying, "Waaaah, this thing is hard and scary and I have a hard time doing it!" but rather, "Huh... not only is this thing hard/scary/difficult - I actually enjoy the other thing more."

The post was about how I must be weird because I like being given instructions and following them! But hey, so I'm weird - so what? That's me. Now just to find places where I can flourish. :)

Warning: I know lots of unemployed librarians in the Boston area. Yes, we have lots of libraries here, and hence a lot of demand. But we have even more supply.

Hypothetically, you could move, but that would be very unfortunate from my point of view.
