Sometimes it's worth it to go a few days without showering and get really smelly and sticky and nasty, just to experience that feeling when you get out of your eventual shower and you're soooo nice and cleeeeean.

Ohmygod that is SO true!! I was trying to explain that the other day to someone. And how if you don't wash your hair for like.. 2-3 days, when you DO wash it, it feels so silky and smoothe and smells SOSO good. SO worth it. Mr0wl!

Exactly... that's pretty much how it happened... icky dirty greasy hair, and then I shampooed it twice, and now it feels soooooo nice.

YES!
My roomie doesn't understand it. But the longer you go not-being-able-to-see-the-floor, the nicer it is when you finally CAN!

exactly! A sense of satisfaction, like you've made difference. I don't know why people bother vacuuming floors that are already clean.

I completely agree.

Sort of reminds me of what my brother said about why smoking is appealing. Apart from all of the social dynamics that have been built around it (ugh), it's creating an itch which then gets scratched, which feels good.
