I did find some cheaper after I posted that but cheaper is a relative term. It was around $22/yard.

Actually, the price probably varies widely based on the particular properties of the Kevlar cloth and the supplier you use. Fibre thickness and the openness of the weave would be the most basic changes, and then the loom width would be a factor, too. I have a sail made of Kevlar that uses a much more open weave (the Kevlar is sandwiched between layers of mylar), and panels much wider than the cloth in the link you posted.
