So, they want to offer me the job. I'm going to go to HR today and discuss salary. My boss thinks I can actually get more than I do from the temp agency right now, plus benefits... so that'd be awesome.
However, I did get a little chat yesterday about using the computers for "personal projects"... Which I assume means LJ and IM and such. Ooops. :P Actually though, I asked for clarification, and the boss said, "the editing you do," which is kind of confusing... but I guess any of this can come across as editing? At least he said that listening to music via headphones is okay.
Depending on how much that ends up coming down on my head... Man, I'm so uncertain about this. Money + benefits + job = good, but this job is pretty dull and I will seriously die of boredom if I can't spend some time each day on entertainment. I wonder if I'm really spoiled saying so, but
londo assures me I just have a low banality threshold.
So... yay? I guess we'll find out later, after I have my salary talk. ;)

on 1 Sep 2004 11:12 (UTC)So ,I totally understand that-I couldn't sit there all day in between actual work stuff that needed done, and just do nothing...And if you've gotten said work stuff done-I don't see why entertaining yourself by reading a bit on the computer should be such a big deal?
