Yes, it is definitely fruit flies that we're infested with - due to the fact that I found a bunch of these over a week ago. (Warning - maggot picture!)

Feh. Time to clean more, I guess.

I found squirmy maggots in some rotting bananas I was saving for banana bread. (I was wondering why there were so many fruit flies recently...) I was so grossed out that I had maggosts in my apartment, but I doused my table in alcohol and am hiding my fruit in the fridge (though I hate cold fruit) until the flies disappear. Good luck!
