I keep a grip on myself by remembering that they're both younger than my little brother.

Why do kids look so old?! DAMMIT.

It's just the movie screen. That makes them look old. Whereas I go out and see a freshman in college and think, "Damn, they look so YOUNG!"

Though honestly, undergraduate frosh are still mostly high school students. It's a transitory stage.
