First off: the Mass. ACLU has contacted the MBTA about the ID checks. We'll see where it goes from here...

Lassitude sucks. And I went to bed early last night, too.

Sometimes, a person who would otherwise be interesting is just too sketchy.

My uterus hurts a lot.

Today's desk calendar piece of wisdom: If the best part of your life is in the past, something is way out of whack. I'm wondering if that means I should consider now the best part of my life by default, or if I should simply consider that I have yet to see the best part of my life. I would put more probability in the latter option.

I don't think it means itself to be a matter of perception. Not "If you think the best part of your life is in the past," "If the best part of your life is in the past."

You're right.

That... makes sense. Heh.

I think the desk calendar is right. I mean, most people do not view their 80's as really and truly the best part of their life, and lo and behold, it is because their hip is out of whack.

Sometimes, you're really dumb.

Well, if you're truly living in the present, and attempting to enjoy even the things you don't enjoy, I'd assume that the present would be the best part of your life.

I mean, think about it. Eventually, everything you experience will be the past. The current moment should always be the best.

Right - if you accept the statement of the calendar, then your final statements are the logical conclusions.

I guess something is out of whack, then... but not too far, at least.
