I had whole wheat spaghetti with tomato alfredo sauce. lots of carbs, but 7 grams of dietary fiber. plus 7 grams of protein. as if my diet needs any more protein. *grin*

Mmm, that sounds good. Last night I had spaghetti with stomato and basil sauce to which I added sauteed peppers, onions, and mushrooms. It was delightful.

As far as I know, 'scooby snack' is a slang term for pot.

oohh, I was just quoting the cartoon. never did use drugs, so I had no idea. daphne used to always ask scooby if he'd do it for a scooby snack. then he'd go "nuh uh" and she'd say, would you do it for two scooby snacks, and so on...

I remember it was some song that came out about 5 (maybe more) years ago, about a drug deal, where they said "Scooby Snacks" instead of the drug name. Anyway, I was just trying to be clever, and apparently it didn't work!! ;)

i imagine you've eaten now. but i hope it was thai food, cooked by you in order to have not spent lots of money on it at a restaurant. i'm not sure if it should have been chicken curry or pad thai.

Hmm, I'm not sure what it was anymore, but something had made me keep this comment in my email folder for over a week.. *ponder*

Consequently, I've never made my own pad thai. Will you share your experience doing so?

i only made it once, from a box. it was that thai kitchen brand, i think. i remember it seeming like a lot of work. i think it would just be better and easier to make from scratch (noodles and sauce not packaged together) but i don't have any recipes that i know are good.
