My alarm clock went off at 8:15.
I rolled over and hit the snooze button for four hours.
I wanted to be awake. I really did. But I couldn't bring my mind out of the fog.

on 5 Oct 2003 18:07 (UTC)I also more or less self-enforce going to bed at a reasonable hour, with no exception. On the days where I need to be up at 5am, I go to bed no later than 10pm. I've been avoiding caffeine early in the morning and late at night, and that's also helped a bit.
Not sure what else you can do. You can always make it so sleeping is less comfortable so you don't sleep so heavily, but that has drawbacks.
