injury week!
27 September 2003 01:05Today has been a very bad week for me!
Tonight I cut myself deeper than I've ever cut myself. Which isn't all that deep, I suppose. I was putting up boxes of aluminum foil and saran wrap into the cupboard, jammed a box against the side of said cupboard, and ran my hand into the sharp metal part of the box. Nice clean cut about 1/4 of an inch deep (over half a centimeter), right next to my thumb joint on the top of my hand. Didn't even bleed for a bit. Then it bled. ;) It's slathered with neosporin and cross-bandaged.
In happier news, I watched all 14 episodes of Firefly today. Finally saw the three unaired ones. And damn, Heart of Gold is a great episode.
My neck is more sore than my back. Too much of being stuck in one direction.
My back is steadily getting better, but I don't think I'll make it to aerobics tomorrow, and I sure as hell won't be making it to the first SCA event I've ever had the opportunity to attend. Sigh. And I so wanted to dance at the ball :(
Oh, well. Here's hoping I sleep well tonight!
