Queer as Folk will be good if one of the characters gets over himself, and soon. But from the "next time on" preview, it doesn't look like he will. Sad, that. It had promise. But I just can't stand this guy, or understand his motivation really. The storyline about the teenager coming out is pretty good though.

I think the cats miss Jim. He'll be happy to hear that when he returns.

I am up WAY past my bedtime...

The only cats here are my cats. And they just miss him at specific times, I think. Like night when he should be coming home from work and paying attention to them. ;) Last night Pixel was meowing and pawing around the door, so that's what I assume.

i've seen, oh, 6-10 episodes of the american version and really liked it. the british version came first, and the young boy was significantly younger in it. i mean, his character...the actors were different of course.

Does Brian become less of a bastard? I mean really. He totally pisses me off.

I saw that it was based on a British series... how young was the young boy? Because geez, he's 17 in this series, and that's pretty young..

he's 14 or 15.
it's my understanding that brian's character develops slowly over this season and possibly the next ones. here i mean personal developeent, not character development. there have been a few positive changes in him up to the point that goldbug and i have seen. i think that this metamorphosis makes brian one of the most interesting characters on the show.
